The Budget Worksheet Online System is designed to aid in the development of the new fiscal year budget. The main goal is to establish the budget lines by account number for the general ledger. While establishing the budget by account, detailed personnel information is also generated by assigning the new salary dollars to individuals which in turn is fed to Human Resources for the new fiscal year appointment. For the majority of personnel appointments the information gathered during the budget online system completes the full year appointments, in other cases the information only formulates an established budget and the detail will need to be updated using the HR JAN process.
